Job Title: Building Automation/Data Center Field Service Engineer

Job Overview
We seek an experienced Building Automation/Data Center Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic San Jose, CA team. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced building automation and control systems in cutting-edge data center environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with SCADA, PLC programming, and building automation systems, ensuring the efficient operation of complex mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building Automation Systems: Design, program, and troubleshoot building automation systems (BAS) for HVAC, energy management, and data center operations.
  • SCADA and PLC Programming: Configure and program PLCs and SCADA systems for seamless integration with building automation platforms.
  • Field Service Operations: Perform installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems, including on-site technical support and system optimizations.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and technicians to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  • System Upgrades and Maintenance: Lead upgrades to existing systems and perform regular maintenance to ensure system reliability and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience with building automation systems in data center environments.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA platforms and PLC programming languages, including Ladder Diagrams, Function Block Diagrams, and Structured Text.
  • Proficiency with building automation systems such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Schneider Electric EcoStruxure.
  • Software Proficiency:
  • Skilled in HMI development and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
  • Other Requirements:
