Job Title: Automation Technician – Allen-Bradley PLC

Job Summary
We seek an experienced Automation Technician with expertise in Allen-Bradley PLC systems to support our commercial building automation projects in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Allen-Bradley platforms and focus on system optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting to enhance commercial building operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Allen-Bradley PLC systems (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix) and related automation systems.
Optimize PLC system performance to ensure efficient commercial building automation operations.
Installed, programmed, and commissioned new PLC systems for various building automation projects.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and engineering teams to ensure the highest quality service and timely project completion.
Provide on-site technical support and training to building staff on system operations and basic troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate records of system interventions, updates, and modifications, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience working with Allen-Bradley PLC systems in commercial settings.
Proficient in programming languages such as Structured Text, Ladder Diagrams, and Function Block Diagrams. Familiarity with Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk is a plus.
Strong understanding of integrating PLCs with commercial building automation systems.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.
Technical certification or an associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Must be located in or willing to relocate to Omaha, NE.
Programming Platforms: Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, Modicon, EcoStruxure Control Expert, EcoStruxure Power SCADA Operation.
SCADA Systems: Ignition, AVEVA System Platform (formerly Wonderware).
