Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize Schneider Electric Modicon PLC systems and SCADA solutions to ensure high performance in industrial automation applications.
Collaborate with clients to interpret requirements and create detailed technical specifications for automation systems and electrical equipment.
Lead installation, configuration, and commissioning of automation systems, ensuring seamless integration and reliable operation.
Design, implement, and optimize HMI applications using the AVEVA System Platform to deliver user-friendly interfaces.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver complex automation projects on schedule, adhering to client requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience with Schneider Electric Modicon PLCs, EcoStruxure Control Expert, and SCADA platforms (e.g., EcoStruxure Power SCADA Operation, AVEVA System Platform).
Proficiency in PLC programming languages (Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, Ladder Diagram) and SQL scripting.
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in industrial automation environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
A stable work history within the local Houston area is required.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Rockwell Automation systems (Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, Studio 5000) and Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA.
Experience in advanced HMI design and system troubleshooting/debugging.
