Overview:
We're seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC and Plumbing Project Manager to join our expanding team in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for a professional with a robust background in managing complex commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, boasting at least 5 years of experience. The successful candidate will be proficient in using Bluebeam and Excel, equipped with a strong grasp of project management principles. A degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is preferred, especially if coupled with experience in On-Screen Takeoff (OST) Project Management and Bluebeam software.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the complete management of commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, ensuring excellence in quality, timing, and budget adherence.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasting to set clear objectives.
- Maintain ongoing communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and subcontractors, ensuring transparency and expectation management.
- Analyze project documentation using Bluebeam, ensuring specifications are met accurately.
- Implement OST Project Management and Bluebeam software to enhance project execution efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee contractor and subcontractor work, ensuring project completion meets specifications and quality standards.
- Build and sustain productive relationships with project stakeholders, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Enforce all relevant safety standards, local building codes, and federal regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Address and resolve project challenges proactively, aligning solutions with project goals and stakeholder interests.
- Deliver detailed project reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and achievements.
Qualifications:
- Residency in Los Angeles, CA, or willingness to relocate.
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam required.
- Familiarity with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) Project Management software is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) preferred.
